Better prints, less waste

A simple guide to printing ColourKaka pages.

A few small settings will keep outlines crisp and make the page fit ordinary A4 paper correctly.

1. Choose the format

Use JPEG when you want to save the picture to your phone or place it in another document. Use PDF or Print / Save PDF for the easiest full-page result.

2. Check the paper settings

Select A4, portrait orientation and “fit to printable area”. Keep margins on default unless your printer supports borderless A4.

3. Save ink

Choose black-and-white or grayscale. Standard print quality is enough for crayons; use high quality only for fine pencil or sketch-pen work.

4. Pick suitable paper

Ordinary 75–90 GSM paper works for crayons and coloured pencils. Thicker 100–160 GSM paper is better for sketch pens, but always check your printer’s paper limit.
