Wilson's Paradise Bird Page

A male Wilson's Bird-of-Paradise performs on a tidy rainforest display ground while the female watches from a curved branch above. Colour the male with a bright blue crown, red back, yellow neck and green chest, then highlight his curled tail feathers. The female can be warm brown, olive and cream. Use rich browns for the forest floor and branch, several greens for the leaves and small tropical colours for berries or flowers. Colour the displaying bird first, then the observing female and simple plants, leaving plenty of white space around the special courtship stage.
