Weaver Bird Woven Nest Page

A clever weaver bird clings to a long strand of grass beside its hanging woven nest. The nest has a rounded lower room and a clear entrance tube pointing downward, and loose fibres in the bird's beak show that building is still underway. Colour the bird sunny yellow, warm brown and black, or choose your own bright pattern. Make the woven grasses golden, tan and pale green, with darker strands around the doorway. Use greens for the branch and leaves and light blue for the open sky. Follow the curved weaving lines slowly so the special hanging shape and tube remain easy to understand.
