Three Wise Men Colouring Page

Three dignified travellers arrive with precious gifts while their camels rest on the desert path. This page represents the wise men in the Christian Nativity story, following a bright star to honour baby Jesus. Each wise man wears a different crown or headpiece and carries one special container, making it easy to count the three visitors and compare their gifts. Three calm camels kneel nearby with simple saddle blankets, while a palm tree and small stable appear in the distance. The large guiding star shines above the route. For Christian families, the wise men are associated with generosity, devotion and a long, determined journey. Children from other backgrounds can explore the image respectfully as a familiar part of Christmas storytelling, pageants and art. Begin by giving each wise man a distinct colour family. One robe might use rich red and gold, another deep blue and silver-grey, and the third purple with green details. Colour capes and inner robes in related shades so the layered clothing stays easy to understand. Crowns and decorative headpieces can be gold, bronze or bright jewel colours. Use varied natural skin and hair tones for the three travellers. Their gift containers could be gold, warm brown or colourful enamel, with tiny jewel accents if desired. Camels are often sandy tan, caramel or deep brown. Choose three slightly different coat colours, then make the saddle blankets bright enough to stand out. Use small repeating shapes along the blanket edges, carefully staying inside the outlines. The desert hills can be pale yellow, peach or beige, and the palm uses green leaves with a brown trunk. Colour the distant stable in quiet earth tones. Make the guiding star vivid yellow or gold and keep much of the surrounding sky white so it remains bright. Younger children can fill the large robes, camels and star. Older colourists can add gentle fabric folds, subtle camel fur strokes and jewel-like dots on the gifts. Avoid very dark background colouring, which could hide the clean outlines. Finish by checking all three gifts and all three camels. The completed scene should feel respectful, calm and full of generous purpose as the travellers near the end of their journey.
