Swallow Perched on a Tree Branch Colouring Page

A swallow perches on a leafy tree branch with both feet gripping the wood. Its head turns slightly, its pointed wings rest against its body and its deeply forked tail extends beyond the branch. A few leaves create a simple natural setting around the alert bird. How to colour: Use glossy blue-black for the crown, back and folded wings, chestnut red for the forehead and throat, and warm cream for the underside. Colour the forked tail dark navy with small white accents, and use pale grey for the bill and feet. Make the branch warm brown with darker brown underneath, and colour the leaves in fresh green with olive-green veins. Apply smooth strokes along the long wing feathers, short curved strokes on the chest and gentle lengthwise strokes on the bark. Leave a thin pale highlight on the upper branch.
