Swallow Mud Cup Colouring Page

A graceful swallow flies toward a half-cup nest attached beneath a wooden beam. The nest is built from many rounded mud pellets, and three chicks open their beaks to welcome the returning parent. Colour the swallow blue-black, white and rusty orange, or use bright colours of your own. Make the chicks soft grey or brown, the mud pellets tan and clay red, and the beam warm brown with lighter wood grain. Add pale blue around the simple cloud shapes. Colour each rounded pellet separately so the cup construction remains visible, then finish the long wings, forked tail and three eager faces.
