Santa Sleigh Loading Colouring

Three busy elves are loading Santa's sleigh for its Christmas journey. One elf carries a large parcel, another arranges boxes inside the sleigh and a third brings a smaller gift. The workshop door behind them reveals more presents waiting on shelves, while snow and a simple fir tree set the scene at the North Pole. Follow each elf's hands to see how safely the boxes are held. Which present is largest, and which bow has the longest loops? The picture celebrates teamwork and the idea that a big job becomes easier when everyone takes a clear part. It is also a chance to talk about lifting carefully, keeping pathways tidy and thanking helpers. Give every elf a related outfit with one special difference. For example, all three hats could be green while their tunics are red, blue and purple. Use stripes on the leggings and a contrasting colour for each belt. The sleigh could be bright red with golden runners, forest green with silver runners or any magical combination. Colour the gifts in pairs that stand apart, such as yellow with blue ribbon, pink with green ribbon and orange with purple ribbon. Keep the snow mostly white, adding pale blue only along curves and beneath feet. The workshop can use warm browns so the colourful elves and gifts stay in front. Start with the big sleigh body and runners, then colour each elf from hat to boots. Broad crayons suit the snow, sleigh and gift panels, while coloured pencils are helpful for fingers, bow loops, buckles and striped socks. Younger children can make each parcel one bold colour. Older children can add dots, diagonal stripes or star patterns inside the empty gift areas, plus soft shadows under the boxes to show which ones sit in front. Leave a narrow white shine along the sleigh's curved side. Check that adjacent presents do not use the exact same colour, or their edges may disappear. Finish the fir tree and workshop last with calmer shades. Your completed picture can look energetic and merry, with every elf contributing to a shared Christmas mission.
