Saint Bernard Rescue Page

This gentle Saint Bernard walks along a snowy alpine path wearing its famous little rescue barrel, with a cosy cabin and distant peaks behind it. Saint Bernards are very large mountain dogs with broad heads, floppy ears and thick warm coats. Colour the fur white with rich reddish-brown patches and add darker shading around the ears and eyes. Make the barrel warm wood brown with a bright collar, then use pale blue, lavender and grey for the snow and mountains. Start with the dog's big coat sections, keep the white areas clean and colour around the face markings slowly. Finish the cabin and winter scenery with soft, simple colours.
