Red-legged Honeycreeper Page

A male and female Red-legged Honeycreeper feed together among tropical flowers. One bird reaches for nectar while the other perches beside a cluster of fruit. Colour the male deep blue or violet with dark wings and bright red legs. Give the female green or olive feathers with a pale yellow belly and matching red legs. Make the flowers pink, orange, red or purple, and colour the fruit yellow, blue or rosy red. Use rich greens for the leaves and warm brown for the branch. Begin with the slender birds and curved beaks, then colour the flowers and fruit without crowding their feeding poses.
