Peacock Drinking Water by a Pond Colouring Page

A peacock bends its long neck to drink at the edge of a pond. Both feet stand on the bank while its folded train stretches behind it. Reeds and small water ripples surround the lowered bill, drawing attention to the quiet drinking moment. How to colour: Use royal blue on the head and neck, emerald green on the long train, warm brown on the wing and grey on the bill and legs. Add navy and turquoise feather eyes with golden-yellow rings. Colour the reeds olive green, the bank tan and the water pale blue. Follow the curved neck with smooth pencil strokes and use longer strokes along the trailing feathers. Leave a narrow white highlight around the ripples, then add slightly darker blue close to the bill and darker green beneath the overlapping train feathers.
