Painted Bunting Pair Colouring

A colourful male Painted Bunting sings from a flowering branch while the female perches nearby beside a small woven nest. Colour the male's head blue, his back green and his chest bright red for a rainbow-like look. The female can be gentle yellow-green or olive with a paler belly. Make the branch warm brown, the leaves fresh green and the flowers any lively shades you enjoy. The nest can be tan, straw yellow and soft brown. Colour the birds first, then use short strokes on the nest fibres and smooth strokes on the petals while keeping the scene light and cheerful.
