Old English Sheepdog Page

A shaggy Old English Sheepdog ambles along a farm lane beside a low wooden fence. Its big fluffy coat, rounded body and hair-covered eyes make this cheerful herding dog easy to spot. Colour the coat white with soft grey, blue-grey or dark patches across the back and ears. Keep the face and chest mostly light, use warm brown for the fence and path, and add fresh greens to the grass. Begin with the nose and any visible eye, then follow the long wavy fur using loose curved strokes instead of colouring every white space. Add the darker saddle patches last and finish the simple farm scene lightly so the friendly shaggy dog remains clear.
