Hummingbird Nest Colouring Page

A hummingbird hovers beside a wonderfully tiny cup nest fastened to a slender branch. Two miniature eggs sit inside, and three trumpet-shaped flowers offer nectar nearby. Colour the hummingbird with emerald green, turquoise, ruby or violet feathers, then add a soft grey beak and tiny dark feet. Make the nest tan, mossy green or pale brown, and leave the eggs white or give them a gentle cream tint. The flowers can glow pink, red, purple or yellow. Use short strokes on the feathers and long smooth strokes on the petals, keeping the little nest clearly smaller than the bird.
