Himalayan Monal Pair Page

A male and female Himalayan Monal stand together on a rocky mountain slope with alpine flowers and snowy peaks in the distance. Colour the male's shiny-looking feathers with blue, green, purple, copper and red, and make his curved crest bright and bold. Give the female natural brown, cream and grey patterns. Use cool blue or violet on the distant mountains, grey and tan on the rocks, and tiny jewel colours on the flowers. Start with the birds, then colour the slope from front to back so the open white snow and strong mountain shapes remain easy to see.
