Flamingo Walking Through a Lagoon Colouring Page

A single flamingo walks through a clear lagoon with one long leg planted in the water and the other lifted for its next careful step. Its upright neck, small head, curved bill and neatly folded wings form a strong central pose. Ripples, low reeds and a few distant water plants create a calm wetland setting around the bird. How to colour: Use a pale rose wash on the long neck and body, then layer coral pink and salmon on the folded wing. Add a narrow raspberry shadow beneath overlapping feathers and keep selected tips white. Colour the bill pale pink at the base and black at the hooked end, with a golden-yellow eye and black pupil. Use dusty pink on both legs and deepen the colour at the knees and where the planted foot enters the water. Make the lagoon light turquoise with sky-blue ripples, the reflections blue-grey, and the plants a mix of olive, jade and emerald green. Follow feather direction with smooth strokes, soften the body with light layers and draw curved blue bands around the moving legs.
