Flamingo Pair Performing a Courtship Dance Colouring Page

Two adult flamingos perform a courtship dance together in shallow water. Their long necks rise in elegant curves, their wings open in matching displays and their slender legs create balanced dance poses. Light ripples and a few distant reeds frame the pair while keeping both complete birds clear and separate. How to colour: Use pale pink on both birds' necks and bodies, then distinguish them with slightly different wings: blend coral into raspberry on one and salmon into warm rose on the other. Colour the spread flight feathers black with narrow pink edges, the bills pale pink with black tips, the eyes golden yellow and the legs dusty rose. Make the water pale aqua with sky-blue and lavender-blue reflection lines. Colour the reeds olive, emerald and yellow-green, and use soft tan for small patches of shore. Layer colour symmetrically across each open wing, follow the long neck curves with smooth strokes and deepen the water directly beneath their feet to anchor the dancing pair.
