Flamingo Flying with Its Flock Colouring Page

A flock of flamingos flies together across an open sky, each bird stretching its long neck forward and trailing its straight legs behind. Broad wings reveal layered flight feathers as the group moves in the same direction above a distant wetland. Clear gaps between the birds keep every silhouette easy to recognise and colour. How to colour: Give the flock a family of pink shades so the birds remain distinct: use pale blush on their necks and bodies, coral and salmon on the wing coverts, and deep rose near the inner wings. Colour the outer flight feathers black, the bills pale pink with black tips, and the long legs muted rose. Use a soft sky-blue wash around the birds while preserving white space near their outlines. Colour the distant water turquoise, the marsh grass olive and emerald green, and any far hills blue-green. Shade each wing from its base toward the tips, use long strokes along the necks and add slightly darker colour under the bodies to show the flock in flight.
