Flamingo Flock at a Beautiful Wetland Colouring Page

Five flamingos gather across a broad wetland, with the birds standing, wading and resting together in the shallow water. Their long necks and legs create varied but readable poses, while reeds, open water, distant hills and a small cloud give the flock a spacious natural home. The two foreground birds remain especially large and clear for comfortable colouring. How to colour: Use a range of coordinated pinks across the flock: pale blush for necks and bodies, coral and salmon for folded wings, deeper rose on selected adults and black on visible flight-feather tips. Colour every bill pale pink with a black end, the eyes golden yellow and the legs dusty rose, varying the pressure so nearby birds look richer than distant ones. Make the water turquoise and light blue with lavender-blue reflections. Use olive, emerald and yellow-green for reeds and marsh grass, sandy beige for the banks, pale blue-green for distant hills and very pale blue for the cloud. Colour foreground birds first, use lighter layers on the background flock and finish with horizontal strokes that connect reflections across the wetland.
