Basset Hound Colouring Sheet

A curious Basset Hound sniffs along a garden path while its extra-long ears hang close to the ground. A butterfly and two big flowers make the simple scene cheerful. Basset Hounds have short legs, loose skin, long bodies and wonderful noses. Colour the coat with patches of white, tan, reddish-brown and black, keeping the ears a little darker if you like. Add green leaves, bright flower petals and a colourful butterfly, then use soft brown for the path. Begin with the long ears and face, colour the large coat patches one at a time and finish the garden gently so the dog's special shape remains easy to recognise.
