Baby Penguin Learning to Walk Colouring Page

A baby penguin practises a small step across the snow with its short flippers stretched out for balance. One tiny foot is raised as the fluffy chick begins to walk. Small footprints and a low snow mound make the little journey easy to follow. How to colour: Use soft silver grey for the chick's fluffy body and flippers, charcoal grey for the top and back of its head, and white for its cheek patches. Colour the bill and webbed feet dark slate grey. Add pale blue to the footprints and shaded sides of the snow mound. Start with a very light grey base, then add short pencil strokes around the fluffy edges. Keep the face bright and use slightly darker grey beneath the flippers to make the chick look rounded.
