Baby Flamingo Following Its Mother Colouring Page

A baby flamingo follows closely behind its mother as they walk through a shallow lagoon. The tall adult steps forward with her long neck raised, while the fluffy chick copies her path on much shorter legs. Gentle ripples, reeds and a low distant shoreline show their movement without crowding the two-bird family scene. How to colour: Colour the mother with a light blush-pink neck and body, warm coral wing feathers and small black flight-feather accents. Use pale pink and black on her curved bill, golden yellow for the eye and dusty rose for the long legs. Make the chick soft silver grey with a creamy chest, a dark grey bill and muted grey-pink feet. Colour the lagoon pale aqua and sky blue, adding slightly darker blue around the ripples and reflections. Use fresh green, olive and yellow-green for the reeds and shrubs, and soft tan for the distant shore. Apply smooth strokes along the mother's feathers, short fluffy strokes on the chick and curved horizontal strokes in the water to make their walking direction clear.
