Airedale Terrier Colouring

A cheerful Airedale Terrier stands in a riverside park beside a favourite stick and a few reeds. Airedales are the largest terriers, with long faces, folded ears, square beards and wiry coats. Colour the head, chest and legs warm tan, then make the saddle across the back black or dark grizzle. Give the collar a bright colour, use cool blue for the water, green for the reeds and brown for the stick. Begin with the eyebrows, beard and clear saddle shape, add short strokes to show the rough coat and keep the legs neat. Finish the simple riverbank lightly so the confident terrier remains large and easy to recognise.
