Afghan Hound Colouring Sheet

An elegant Afghan Hound stands beneath a simple garden arch with a few large flowers. Afghan Hounds are tall dogs with narrow faces, proud posture and very long silky coats. Colour the fur cream, golden, silver, black, reddish-brown or a shaded mix, and use a darker face mask if you like. Choose bright colours for the flowers, several greens for the leaves and warm stone or wood shades for the arch. Begin with the eyes and long ears, then follow every flowing coat section downward with patient, smooth strokes. Add gentle colour rather than filling every strand, and finish the garden lightly so the graceful dog's beautiful outline stays clear.
